As the national practice director of the Technology Communications Practice at Hill & Knowlton, Mary is responsible for client satisfaction and quality control across all client delivery teams. Mary is a communications and marketing professional with more than 20 years of experience in senior communications roles with a variety of information technology companies including Computer Associates, MCI and EDS. Specializing in communications strategy and message development, as well as comprehensive media relations programs, Mary has held a number of communications management positions and also established her own successful consultancy, working for clients including Compaq Canada, Platinum Software, MCI WorldCom, and Berbee Information Networks.

David Chin

David Chin
VP, Technology Communications Practice, Hill & Knowlton

David Chin has developed, managed and executed national public relations campaigns for prominent information technology companies over the past 12 years, including Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, SAP, Digital Equipment Corp. and SHL Systemhouse; as well as numerous small, entrepreneurial firms. As a former technology journalist, David possesses extensive knowledge and experience in the many facets of the IT industry. Prior to joining H&K, he covered diverse technical, business and marketing issues as a Senior Writer with Computer Dealer News, Canada’s leading technology channels newsmagazine. He also contributed articles to other respected industry publications such as Computing Canada. Previously, David held positions with newspapers in Ottawa, where he earned a Bachelor of Journalism Degree with High Honours from Carleton University.
